Another fast paced Ethan Cruickshank adventure in Cabo Mexico with a cast of Hollywood characters. Cruickshank still has his snappy one liners and continues to be a manly bastard. Highly recommend.
I've become fond of Ethan Cruickshank, reluctant private eye, and his circle of unusual friends in this series based in Cabo San Lucas. Having been to Cabo, I love recognizing places Wisehart writes about. Cabo Storm is another page turner that, in places, made me laugh out loud. Talked into protecting a Hollywood brat while she if filming in Cabo, Ethan takes on the client from hell while facing a looming storm. Wisehart is either a very fast writer or prescient considering this book was published very shortly after the devastating hurricane hit Cabo.
Really enjoyed this book. Was able to imagine I was there in Cabo on vacation! Looking forward to more of Wiseharts books.
Bob's fourth book about Cabo is the best so far -- of a really good series of crime novels. He's onto something. Great writing and a good yarn. Ethan is getting introspective and more driven with this one. Which is a weird combination, but that's where the fun is. There are sentences that will make you laugh. And others that make you think. Will Rio re-appear next go-round? I hope so. Read it. tb
Cabo Storm is fourth in the excellent Cabo series of writer Robert Wisehart. As before, private eye Ethan Cruickshank has an exciting adventure in Cabo San Lucas, in Mexico. Good as always!
I am wondering why on it does not say 'Ethan Cruickshank book 4', as it does with many writer's series. The books can be read in any order, but it's great to meet familiar characters once again!
