Just finished Road of the Damned also read Hell on Earth. I have read a lot of books on the end of the world and have to say you can right a mean zombie book. I really like the way you but the reader in the story. You put this in a way that this could actually happen, is this the way we really become undead. This book continue where it left off from the previous book. Some new survivor join the survivor while some original was gone. Win and Ramey get closer to her destination with a surprise. Very tense bogged down with more survivors while you tried to keep track of the story. It was an enjoyable reading and you will, too.
Took a chance on the first book and was not disappointed. Second books are sometimes not as good but this one was even better. Don’t know if this is should be a warning or not.
The part I liked a lot was that this book is not set up as a fairy tale. Good people die, bad people remain. More true to life then many zombie stories. Can’t wait for book 3
Just finished Book 2. Enjoyed the exploits of the characters I knew, meeting some new ones and sorry to lose some. Maybe I am getting used to it, but it didn’t seem as gory as Book1. The series DOES NOT leave you with a cliffhanger. If it did, I wouldn’t continue, I think that is a cheap trick. If you want a longer review, check mine for Book 1. Now I’m off to get Book 3.
I found a new author that's great ! This storyline is really good and the characters are real and relatable.If you've read authors like Peter Meredith and Mark Tufo ,Ryan Casey Kate L Mary. ... well you get the idea you've got to try this series.I always seem to be between books waiting for the next one to come out from my favorite writers .I feel like I just scroll and scroll through kindle store looking for someone new to pull me in. I found him! Tony Urban s Life of the Dead series is worth your time and money.Its a really awesome group of different types of new characters and a intriguing storyline. Give it a try! A really enjoyable story, the only reason I gave 4 vs. 5 stars was I thought with so many characters the books have been rather short. Would have enjoyed seeing a little more back story on some of the great characters the author has created. Now on to the positive, really great fast paced story, can hardly wait for book 3, also like that no character seemed safe, which makes the suspense even better. Good work Mr. Urban keep writing and I'll keep reading
Book 2 of this story pretty much picks up where book one left off,this book is a definite for zombie fans,great character development with great zombie gorefilled action with some really brutal deaths, I'm writing this review a month after I read the book but this is the first zombie series that I've read since I've got my and I've liked everything about this series in every way,good action, good suspense, good character development and awesome zombie Gore soaked fun nothing more you can ask for in zombie horror fiction
The few we been following since it all started. Some find each other made small groups with each other and some relationships developed with some. Author did good job at switching from each character. I also liked that all of them can dead even if they are you're favorite person (s).
I do have few questions about something how did Juli make it having biting a zombie to kill it. And is the virus airborne because I didn't get that feeling with book1 half way into this book? Bit confused.
